About Us
The New Zealand Association of Plastic Surgeons is a non-profit, professional association.
We are devoted to the maintenance of excellent ethical and
professional standards within the field of cosmetic and
reconstructive plastic surgery. Aside from one or two retired
surgeons and some overseas members, NZAPS represents all of New
Zealand's plastic surgeons.
We provide a voice for plastic surgeons in discussions with the
government, the Ministry of Health and bodies such as the Medical
Council. Our Training and Education sub-committee oversees matters
regarding the training of plastic surgeons in New Zealand and
liaises closely with the Royal Australasian College of
Surgeons.
